I purchased the car from a in use accustomed to dealership, but it still has Factory Warranty. The engine light is on and was told by the dealership that I could take it to my town Toyota Dealership to get serviced since it still had warranty, how does this work? ( its an 07 matrix)

I want to modulation the transmission fluid in my '05 Toyota Matrix. Is there a filter to replace too? Ok, so I unscrew the up the spout plug and drain the old fluid. When I refill with new fluid, can I pour it into the tranny dipstick nook, or do I have to pump it into the fill hole underneath the car? Thanks!

there is no percolate to replace. yes... drain the fluid through the drain plug and fill it through the dipstick tube. Decipher SURE YOU USE ONLY TOYOTA TRANSMISSION FLUID. it's called " type T-IV". don't use anything else. it may originator shifting problems later on.
what you are doing is called a "outflow and fill", this should not take more than 4 quarts of fluid.
