I am so glad that our van is built Ford sturdy! We conduct a Ford E-350 because we have a larger dearest and away b accomplish a peregrinations trailer. One of the first comments my still made after the misadventure was, “We’re getting another one of these!” I at best passion it was a bit easier to find a newer E-350 to put in place of it!

Is it hard to change a computer on a 1990 Ford E-350 Box Truck?

I am looking at buying a 1990 Ford E-350 Box Communication and it needs a computer changed before driving it. I was wondering if anyone knows how hard it is to alter it? Where would it be located at? And how long would it take to change? Thank you in advance.

it,s to all intents located behind the glove box. all you do is unhook the battery, take the computer down to where you can reach the harness, unplug it, transform it and plug the harness back in and hook the battery back up. that,s the way i did mine on my oldsmobile.

I have a communication with a 2003 Ford E-350 van body. This truck is used daily and is hauling a agency weight of about 10,000 lbs.

How often (both miles and months of use) should the oil be changed in this vehicle?

would also depend on if it is in see limits hauling or down the highway cause if it is a lot of stop and go then it is gonna precipitate more heat and friction on the oil and break it down aand burn it u much quicker.

if u are on street not a big deal cause u keep moving at a constant speed which is a hundred times speculator on the parts of the van/truck.

just kinda go by rule of thumb coins it at 3k and see what it looks like if it is still good go a bit long if it looks bad then change it more often

I call for to know where the voltage regulator on a 1998 Ford E-350 box van is and how to test it.

As edselman says, it is almost unquestionably built into the alternator.

Take your truck to chain auto parts stow away like Kragen. Most have electrical system checking equipment and will check your charging system charitable.

An alternate test is to check the battery voltage of your truck with the machine off and compare it to the voltage when the engine is running. Off volts should be around 12.4 or so. Direction should be over 13 perhaps approaching 14. The difference in potential will indicate the system is at least vexing to charge. If you start with a battery voltage below 12 and have a running voltage of over 13, I would start suspecting the freestyle as the culprit. These voltages vary from car to car so don't write it off if it is a .1 of a volt off.
