I am idea about buying a subaru impreza in the next few weeks but will only be wanting to keep it for 4 or 5 months. I have heard from several mates that they are refractory to sell. If i was buying an impreza with the intention to sell on after a while, what would i be looking out for. Is there anything special or rare in an impreza that populace would be wanting to have? or is it just the simple things such as full service history that they would be looking out for

I have one of these too, Exalted car. Infact I have 3. just incase! Dont buy, steal! Much cheaper!

I'm theory about buying a 1996 Subaru Impreza from my brother. It already has 182,000 miles on it. How many miles are Subaru's as a rule good for?

If maintained rightly upto 300,000 + miles.
Check the battery, belts, hoses and brakes every 12 months
Alteration the oil and filter every 3 months, use 5w-30
Change the coolant, brake fluid every 24 months
Modulate the transmission fluid every 36 months
Depending where you live have it undercoated

I'm planning to transmute my gear oil for my subaru impreza 2006. Which gear oil is better? Amsoil severe accoutrements, Motul or Cusco?

I don't entertain the idea it really matters what you use as long as you put the right weight of oil in the gear box,If it's a paradigm transmission which i'm sure it is ,then you should use a 80-90 weight gear oil.
