Anyone know why a 2000 pontiac Grand Prix makes a scraping sound when making a hard left turn?

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix. When I figure out a U-turn or something similar, it makes a scraping or grinding sound. This is only when I form left. It does this in reverse, also. (I think it's louder in mishap.) I am not braking. It doesn't scrape all the time, just when doing a indisputable turn. We checked the power steering fluid and it's OK. Does anyone have any clues as to what this might be? I would perceive any help you might have. Thanks so much!

My also pen-friend just asked me of how he can turn on the lights inside of his pontiac grand prix 2006 while the doors are shut. I've pore over the manual and I can't figure it out my self. Is there some hidden button somewhere or is it impossible to revolve it on while the doors are shut?

use the dimmer twitch. Turn it all the way up till it clicks and the dome light willl possess c visit on.

Can anyone rat me how to put points in a 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix??I have done everything except this and car still not running like it should.
Anyone know how to switch to electronic ignition as a substitute for of all this with the points etc??

you buy your new points and condensor,( if you have not done so, also put back the cap, wires and rotor)

Remove the cap, and rotor.
Look in the distributor, dig the parts you are replacing, and where the wires fasten together.
unhook the wire,take out the two phillips screws, that hold out the points, and one screw that holds the condenser (be very careful not to drop one of the screws down in the dist , )
inaugurate your new points and condenser.
Insert the condensor wire and the wire from the ignition on the require( make certain the wires are all the way inserted behind the screw, if they aren't the car will not start) tighten the summon.
There are two- three ways you can set the dwell on this distributor
If you do not have a dwell meter:
bump the start until the points are fully navigable, set the gap at 34 thousands with a flat feeler gauge, by turning the allen press on the front of the point set...
If you have a dwell meter:
Replace the cap and rotor,
Hook up the stay meter to the coil
start the car
insert the allen wrench through the window in the cap
addle the screw until the DM reads 31-34

In a pinch.. you can use the last method, without the dwell meter, and twist the screw "until it runs right" which when you check it later, will be 31-34.....
