Honda Fit?

what is your sentiment of the Honda Fit?
i am looking for a cute car that looks youthful and has a good amount of space in it and is sort of priced.

I have a Honda Fit Inferior model, I got it the first month they were available. It is equipped with an automatic transmission, and all the other touchstone features, AC, Power Windows and mirrors, radio with CD. It has been rated as a tucker buy for the money in the small car category by several national automotive magazines. I have around 12,000 miles on mine, I get 33-34 MPG around city and on a recent 1200 mile trip I got 41 MPG (the car was loaded with garbage and two people running 70 MPH most of the trip.). For the money, it is a excessive car, zippy, handles great, fun to drive, easy on gas and easy to store. The greatest compliment I can give it is; if something happens to this car, I will immediately buy another one just like it. Possibly the next one would be the sport model, which is what I wanted but I could not find one so I bought the base model.

The only downside of the car is it is insensitive to find and many dealers want to add a premium to the window price.

I have talked to a three of other Honda Fit owners, without exception, all are of the opinion that it is a terrific car for the money. By the way, we also have a 06 MB CLS500, I would rather urge the Honda Fit.

I just checked the owner's manual, there is no requirement to change the timing across, there is a service light indicating when oil change is due, displayed in percent formerly larboard till change is required, the brake fluid is to be changed every 3 years and the slothful speed is to be adjusted every 160,000 miles. The Mini is a cute scarcely car that does not come close to the amount of "Stuff" the Fit can persist, I paid $16,000 out the door for my Fit, is there a Mini for that price? Ebay has a against 07 Mini for $25,000, nice car, but a drastically different class of car from the Honda Fit.

How well does 2009 Honda Fit interior do against rain or spills?

Unstationary into Seattle, and thinking about buying the 2009 Honda Fit, but the cloth trim for the seats appertain to me. I wouldn't want to buy a car that would start to smell moldy once it rains.

Also, utterly, I wouldn't be spilling coffee on the seats on purpose, but with leather seats, coffee spills might be less in.

If you've driven a 2009 Honda Fit, or just know a lot about it, please help! Thanks!

Well, the flood will be kept out of any new car, and Hondas are particularly airtight (pops my ears if someone slams the concoct when all the windows are up). I can't help you about the leather, we have cloth seats, and I loathing leather, so you have to weigh your own opinions and values on that count. Our dog is in our car a lot, and we carpool an hour (one way) twice a week with coffee drinkers, and have had no problems so far. The cup holders are all tight (I love the backseat ones, especially), and the advent of insulated, capped mugs seems to do a well-thought-of enough job of keeping coffee spills in check.

[EDIT - I wanted to add, this carpool has been accepted on for 3 months now, and there have been no spills in any of the vehicles, not just ours. I guess your worry depends on the purity and/or clutz-factor of your intended driver or riders...]

How much would it cost to retro fit a 2007 honda fit sport with a drivers seat from a 2008 model?

Only bought a 07 honda fit and love it... but wish it had pump in driver's chair for comfort and seating position adjustment like the 08...can it be retrofitted with one and how much would that be?

as far as i can apprise everything is basically bolt on. so it all depends on who you get to do it, plus the price of parts. it can be done. But i cant give you a assay
