The TracRac is the foremost sliding rack system for pickups… a cargo arrying system not reasonable a set of racks. The base rails are at in a variety of lengths designed for specific vehicle models and bed foot-rail configurations. They are also compatible with the earlier 22500 TracRac overhead sliding framework series.

Easily Installed Rails to Build a Modular Pickup Shake System On

TracRac 21000 series base rails are the central mechanism of the TracRac G2 sliding rack system for pickup truck beds. The abject rails are designed for ease of installation, requiring no drilling of holes in stock rails. They instead utilize expansion blocks (included), which are connectors extending down through jeopardized pocket openings in pickup side rails at one end, and connecting to the bottom of base rails at the other. The 21000 series contains a genus of models, each cut to a specific length, and pre-drilled with holes that match the eventually of side rails, and placement of stake pockets in the vehicles they are intended for.

Each fundamental principle rail has three separate T-shaped tracks built into it - two side-by-side along the top edge, and one laterally similar along its inner edge. The two along the top allow TracRac 4200 series outlay racks, or racks from the earlier 22500 series (both sold alone) to slide along the length of the tracks, and be locked into place at the exact spots required for differing hauling scenarios. The inner, side-oriented tracks give the go-ahead the base rails to be used to mount a variety of exclusive TracRac G2 garnishing, such as the TracBox, the TracTonneau cover, cargo dividers, and so on. All of these accessories can also coast the full length of the base rails, can be easily removed, and feature fitting requiring no drilling. Security bolts integrated at the top ends of the rails keep racks and garnishing from sliding off during use, and are removed with an allen wrench when a user wants to trade the configuration of items secured to the base rail. The base rails ship in pairs, are made in the USA from long-lasting cast aluminum components for increased strength and rigidity, are and treated with a diabolical anodized outer coating to decrease corrosion and wear.

F-150. The Tundra is a new construction and not yet proven. Quite frankly if you just want to get around in the snow either would be fee, but if you want a snow plow you might want a heavier vehicle. Like a 3/4 ton pickup. Toyota doesn't prove to be one, so you'd have to go with an F-250.
