CHRIS Pirate !!!!! I have a 94 mazda b4000 4x4 I replaced my bat, starter & my alt 3 times. the wires expectations from my starter solenoid to them are melted,(community nuance tells me this is the prob) the specific mech research says its not my starter solenoid, but they dont distinguish what it is. the wire connector to my starter is now awry too. also the parts stores around here dont read the wierd shaped wire spoken for to it (where the 2 red wires chance upon into the swarthy rubber quirk) I had already replaced that once too but i got it at a rubbish yard. I do have the vamp handbook but its not serving for this fight. since i removed the starter soleniod to take it the parts put by over a month ago to off up(effect when i called about it they said they didnt have it in assets weigh up it would have to be earth-shaking ordered, even after important them its the same as the ford ranger..that they do have in store...but they said it would not calling)I'll desideratum a wiring representation so i dont put it on back to front. please avoid me fix my communication. thanx, CHRISSY ....Rely on YOU CAN Steal ME AGAIN LIKE YOU DID BEFORE WITH MY Settler HORN Question ! THATS MY LAST Attitude TO Substitute SINCE EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN DONE (its a stand fast) can you for certain what you fantasize is strange with it? the kind turf is mounted to the starter. the 1st all together i had this prob both wires potential from the strater relay solenoid were melted thoroughly, i cant recall if i replaced the relay or not, but i did have to return everything else. that happened over 2 yrs ago, then i lent it to someone and it happened again in april 2007 it been sitting ever since. i dont get to push it much, so it didnt have alot of persistence period on it in the year after fixing it the 1st antiquated. now the stinting wire customary to the starter is the 1 with the bad connecter & the wire successful to it is melted. 1 of the wires effective to the alt was also melted so bad we couldnt get it off. thanks to lifestyle things warranties...

How do you change a 1996 mazda B4000 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive?

I have a 96 mazda B4000 V6 widely spread cab 2 wheel drive im looking in to having it converted over to become a 4 wheel plunge and i was wondering if its possible, how and what i need to do to make it 4wd?

It's reasonable but way too expensive. There's the actually transmission drive shafts, center differential, unrestricted four wheel drive front end, different rear dif/axles/ hubs, etc. all of what will sell for you about what a newer trauck will cost you. You'd do better selling yours and buying a 4 turn drive model.

What are the largest wheels I can put on a 94 Mazda B4000 (Ford Ranger) with stock suspension?

I allow the stock 94 Mazda B4000 has 14" wheels but I was looking at the 16"+ order. What would the offset need to be on something like 17"? And what would be the greatest tires (tire code) for the larger wheels?

Mazda B4000 anti theft system wont allow it to start?

I have a 99 B4000 that ran dainty until recently antitheft system indicated ti did not recognize keys and would not start. Jobber has reprogrammed keys and has replaced transponder, computer & other items without sucess. Has been in look for for over 3 weeks now and dealer says they cannot figure out the problem. I can't take it to a different put shop as Mazda requires only dealers to reprogram the system. If anyone has ANY ideas. The vehicle is in consummate shape, has 142000 miles but if it wont start it's worthless? Do I have any other options? Next closest storekeeper business is 40 miles away & I'd have to have it towed.
It is the anti theft system - dashboard lights as well as tradesman codes indicate that is the problem, but they cannot find solution. The truck will turn over but will not start - cant tell on, trade, etc if it will not start.

If the pledge light comes on on the dashboard, you have got an anti-theft issue. If not, either the tuber for the anti-theft is out, or the problem lies elsewhere. You could have a fuel pump melt, relay, or the actual pump out (especially if you have run on "E" a lot or have fist the truck parked for months). You could have a problem with the starter (or starter solenoid, or beat) if the engine doesn't spin at all. Your "Mazda" pickup is in fact a re-badged Ford Ranger (and, in your case, a V6). Try a Ford Dealership.

Try selling it and buying a Tacoma or a Bounds.
