Would you mention favourably a GMC Sierra 2 door for a 16 year old driver, and do you know what the estimated outlay of insurance would be? What are advantages/ deisdvantages of this vehicle? I need a truck, and not a car, so don't say get a car.

These trucks assemble up well, are cheap to fix, and cheap to insure. I am not sure about a 16 yr old driver, but I only pay like $30 a month for indemnification on my 85 GMC Sierra Classic. Its hard for them to tear up these trucks, and IF (God forbid) they ever razing it, they will hold up like a TANK. I own 5 of these trucks, years 78-85. All three of my sons will learn how to refer to in one of them, but that is just my opinion.

I have 2007 GMC Sierra (New hull style). My side view mirror on the passenger side is extremely loose. I would like to be familiar with how to repair it and make it tighter. Any ideas how to get into the mirror to tighten it?

The fasteners are accessed from by nature the door, so you'll have to remove the inside door panel and tighten them up.
