my 2001 ford f-250 supercab has a remote that wont lock or unlock even after a new battery what can be done?

when you mash the lock button it sounds and looks like its trying to toil but the locks just dont quite go all the way up or all the way down so you have to use the key or manualy push the imprison down when getting out which seems like it is sticky or hard to push all the way.

Sounds like your driver entry lock actuator has worn out and needs to be replaced. This has nothing to do with your remote.

can I use a 4wd lift kit with a 2wd truck? It is a 1983 Ford F-250 Long Bed (Not Supercab).?

it's the 2wd conception.

it depends on whether it is a substance lift or a suspension lift.

A body lift is simply spacers inserted between the edging and the body, and shouldn't be much different between 2wd and 4wd

A suspension lift for an older 4wd will be expected for solid axles, which a 2wd will only have in the rear. the front wheels will be independent suspension (i.e. not on an axle) so raise kit won't fit.

Is it possible to install bench seats from different model cars?

I have a 1989 Ford F-250 SuperCab that I would like to deflection out the front bench seat on, and I was wondering if it is possible to put in a seat from a different ford prototype, or even from a different make? And if so, can anyone point me towards a cross-referencing tool for decree which seats are inter-compatible? Thanks!

Hello, I've put 2000 Oldsmobile pail seats in a 1964 Buick Skylark. Have also done and seen other seat swaps without much conundrum. You will have to get the bracket from the seat that is to be swapped. Then you should just have to drill new holes in your flooring to install the "new" brackets. Jack
