not only is it relliable and sustenance efficient, but its one of the safest cars on the road. It also makes some good power, now you wont be blazing the pavement off every light, but youll have enough power to pass those pesky particle civics on the highways

Why does a volvo s80 t6 have terrible suspension?

I purchased a 2003 volvo s80 t6 with 120 000 kms on the clock. Momentarily i noticed that the car seemed to rattle and it has a hard suspension. The car does not handle or manipulate like a prestige car. The noise it makes on the road surface is irritating. Is this hackneyed to these cars?

The snooty suspension is a by-product of handling so you can feel the road better,
The rattling is possibly your sway bar link rods or your strut mount bushings and bearings.
another workaday suspension issue on these is the control arm bushings.
One last unrelated thing obstruction your timing belt for cracks.

Does the new Volvo S80 have a flashing rear windshield brake light?

I saw an S80 where the third decelerate light - the bar in the rear windshield - flashed like a warning every pass the driver hit the brakes. Is this an add-on or something new for Volvo? I have a 1999 S80 and am interested in adding this safety looks to my car. Thanks!

No this is not mill installed. To my knowledge some car companies (mercedes) are starting to look at putting a countenance in to strobe the brake lights in emergency braking maneuvers, but this is not the criterion. Especially if the brake light flashes every time the vehicle brakes, then this would thrash the purpose of alerting people to an emergency stop or a driver attempting an pinch braking maneuver.
