The G-Wagons are that acute for a purpose, they were originally designed as off-road military vehicles. You could try to crop it but I would assume you would be the first person to ever try to lower a Gelandewagen-Wagon.

I would build or buy a shirt-pocket step to make it easier to enter and exit the truck.
