Who cares about truthful offroadability? Infiniti has never marketed it as such. Most car based crossovers aren't very virtuousness other than say subaru. Nobody buys these vehicles for their offroad use. They can oversee stones roads which is the most that most residents who buys these types of vehicles gamble out on and presume. I have about 50 miles of eastern Oregon sand roads on mine. Some of that was very washboarded and were submersed with several inches of snow. It did satisfactory like most of these crossovers would. Except dialect mayhap the ridgeline since we recollect from Edmunds that their shocks aren't up to the lecture.

Lexus LX570 or Infiniti QX56 or Infiniti FX50?

We hardly purchased a Lexus for my wife and we both love it. I've always been a fan of the Infiniti brand more so than the Lexus. But the purchaser service at Lexus is unbelievable. Here lies my dilemna...I want to selling in my Nissan Armada on a luxury SUV next year. I like the Lexus for it's conduit and customer service, but the price is too high. I'm afraid the customer worship army for Infiniti won't be up to par and I'm scared the QX56 will ride too much like a truck (like my Armada does). The FX50 is in the equation only from a sporting standpoint.

So taking into consideration the above mentioned items, and the truth that I will be purchasing in Jan 2010 or so, which would you choose and why: A certified used 2008 Lexus LX570, a certified old 2009 Infiniti QX56 or a certified used 2009 FX50?

If you are looking for a new cheaper Lexus to acquisition in Jan 2010, the new GX will be out by then. If you meant Jan 2009, I'd go certified LX 570 or wait until Feb 2009 for the new RX 350 to get to the showroom. Nissan is discontinuing the QX56 and they are account canceling all of their truck based SUVs. The FX50 seems like a nice SUV but is nothing minuscule to a large SUV.

Porsche Cayenne.
The Infiniti is more fun to motor because it is smaller and lighter.
But the Porsche is more comfortable, more luxurious, and its a Porsche.

The Cayenne Turbo is the fastest SUV at 171mph.

Hey I was searching on youtube, and to my disapointment, I did not find too many reviews on the infiniti FX 50. Does anyone out their have the FX50? Is the locomotive noise louder than the fx 35, since it goes 0-60 in 5 sec?

All the newer Infiniti's have tuned spend and are not noisy. If you buy one make sure you only service them at the dealer. There are special locomotive and transmission fluids that any quick lube won't have. These vehicles are way to technical for the every day mechanic to toil on.
I prefer the FX35 over the FX45 or FX50.
