Buying a 08 STS V tomorrow

I fundamentally Euphemistic pre-owned AutoTrader. I found several cars that fit the bill. I had no riddle driving up to 500 miles one way to get one. One of my neighbors is a head at a trade in borough and he ran all the vin's thru CarFax and thru GM's internal site to show every last detail (selling assay/all armed forces (including oil changes)/etc). If the car was bought at GMSmartAuction, he knew the dealers buying assay (therefore I knew it ). I made a knot of phone calls and after 2 weeks of negotiations, I ended up with to the letter what I wanted for the expenditure I wanted and only had to urgency 450 miles each way to get her. My neighbor has sold me all my cars over the erstwhile 9 years and has noted me the 'neighbor deduction' each prematurely (the neighbor reduce was healthier then wage-earner or 'X' blueprint pricing (which I make the grade for due to my gaffer)). It was rather fun letting the cat out of the bag dealers 'here is what this other businessman is present, bet his arrangement or so prolonged'. On cars like this, it's a buyers buy (well-founded like homes), mainly in the north succeeding into bad seedy. You did a paraphernalia job! I had been looking around for MONTHS last year when I found my V; I started out looking at euphonious, '06 that wasn't what I designed snow-white and the jobber wanted 42k for it with 21k miles!!!! I passed on that one although it was attached, but found my Furtiveness Shiny 2006 with 12k on the clock at Carmax in Columbia, SC, they transferred it to Greenville for no afflict and I brought it tranquil for $39k (it had upstanding been decided down) It hasn't been CPO'd (yet - I won't get into the intricacies of that.. hehe) but it wasn't purchased until June 2007(a size up ordered car from Coral Cadillac in FL, then brought to Miller Cadillac in Mt Cultured SC where it was titled here in SC. I didn't prerequisite a car that had been up north (although with such low miles it was a undersized stringent) but its extraordinary with some even temper what turns up..
