Open the connector until you hear or feel a detent click. This is as far you will have to go to unhitch the connector from the unit.
Installation is the reverse of the above. If you look closely you will see three sombre bulb sockets. Twist the sockets counterclockwise and remove the hollow one. Go to your SAAB dealer and have them give you the correct bulb. I believe it is a 5 watt bulb. Note, if the headlamp rechannel is not in the extreme left position, the MCC panel will not illuminate.
